New Fabric Introductions

Fabric companies typically come out with new lines of fabric a couple of times a year, discontinuing some of their older lines to make room for the new ones. I recently got a socially distanced sample showing from the rep of one of my go-to fabric companies showcasing some of the new introductions.

I’ve paired some fabric selections in families with coordinating Benjamin Moore paint colors in the images below.

This great combination of colors and textures provides a casual, sophisticated coastal palette

He left the bag of samples on my doorstep for me to look through over the weekend and repack for pick up on Monday for a no-contact viewing — I appreciated the caution. I requested samples of my own for several that I fell in love with and anticipate using in projects.

Beautiful textures, and geometric patterns give a classic nod to nautical style

Trending colors were a continuation of the blues and blue-greens, a strong showing of neutrals (especially in shades of warmer gray, taupe, and ivory), and some pretty coral and red tones.

Warm neutrals are a timeless option. Playful embroidery, geometric jacquard, and soft texture lend a casual sophistication.

Sea and sand colors and touchable textures create an unbeatable combination of comfort and calm in these fabrics that include an embroidered trellis pattern, a basketweave chenille, a geometric jacquard, and a textured stripe.

Textures always capture my heart and this collection did not disappoint. It featured some new beautiful soft chenilles, a fair number of wonderful embroidered fabrics, and some terrific geometric jacquard weaves and textured stripes .

This coral and taupe palette serves up elegance with embroidered cherry blossom branches and an assortment of upholstery weight textures including a hard-working Sunbrella herringbone.
