Christmas without puzzles is just not the same!  There was a family gift puzzle under the tree every year growing up and we would spend the week between Christmas and New Years working on it.

For the puzzle lover in your life, these beautiful vintage-inspired puzzles are nice quality and come in these adorable canister shaped boxes.  I’ve bought and gifted nearly every pattern they make!

Lewis Miller is a floral designer in NYC who pioneered the flower flash…random lavish floral installations in unexpected locations.  I recently ordered this beautiful Flower flash book which documents Lewis and his team and these fleeting works of GORGEOUS street art.  I have one of the images as my computer background and it makes me happy every day!

Indulge the coffee snob on your list with this Breville Barista Espesso Machine for beans-to-espresso in under one minute.  That totally beats having to get dressed and schlepp to your favorite coffee shop!

Techy-gifts

We have one of these Apple mini home pods and it is quite useful, though sometimes misunderstands us with hilarious results.  We use it as a speaker for music/TV/movies, to control the lights, and to ask the answers to random questions…from the current weather forecast to the origin of some obscure idea. And you can choose a color to go with your decor.

Smart plugs - we use these with our home pod or the phone app (it makes messing with different household members possible since we can control the lights remotely…but the payback is brutal?!) These work with a variety of systems and we currently have many of our lamps and all our Christmas lights on them so we can control them all in one place.  I am SO over crawling behind the sofa to unplug the candles every night - yippee!

In the spirit of smart technology, these smart LED bulbs work similarly to smart plugs but are controllable for different colors, temperatures, and brightnesses allowing you to create (and save) different scenes for different occasions from cozy to surgical suite…see THIS post for a handy chart on appropriate light bulbs for each circumstance!

Not “smart” but quite chic and useful, this desktop extension cord would make a great stocking stuffer…it has 4 outlets spaced so that you can actually plug in 4 things (surprisingly not a given for most extension cords…) and 3 usb ports for your technology.

Sweet Treats Gifts

Christmas stockings would not be complete in our house without chocolate oranges in the toes.  Dark chocolate flavored with orange and shaped like orange sections…it’s ALMOST like eating something healthy! Here are some you can get in the Nick (haha) of time.

If you know a toffee hound (ME), these are the BEST…sailboat shaped toffees coated with white and dark chocolate and dipped in nuts.  These Sweet Sloops are made right in Salem, Massachusetts by Harbor Sweets.  Caution: *may cause addiction*

Travel Related Gifts

Travel has been on hold for so long, it’s nice to have some fun, pretty new travel items for when you hit the road again

This vintage inspired luggage set comes in a variety of sizes and colors… the pink is a little ‘Barbie Travel’, but IT HAS SCALLOPED detailing soooo…how cute is that??

Pretty passport holder also comes in a number of colors and makes a great stocking stuffer for your favorite nomad.

As do these Luggage Tags (also available in several colors)

Comfy Cozy Gifts

Every Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember I have given my kids pajamas.  Last year they returned the favor and gave me these Pajamagram pajamas.  These will probably be your favorite pajamas ever.  They are so soft and cozy.  They make a variety of other styles and make men’s PJ’s as well.

These cozy slipper socks are the perfect gift for working from home or weekend lounging.  I wear mine with my cozy pajamas for lazy mornings and evening lounging! Multiple colors and patterns available for a complete cozy sock wardrobe!

These funny quips socks would be a fun stocking stuffer…there are many different quips available, but these particular ones work for a lot of people I know!

Backyard Birdwatcher Gifts

Give the gift of entertainment in the form of bird watching with a squirrel proof bird feeder…so you can actually feed the birds and not the intrepid and portly squirrels!  I have the one that is spring loaded to close when something too heaving lands on it.  I gave my Dad the one that rotates and flings the squirrels off (which he finds highly entertaining!)

We also just bought this bird bath heater so we could leave our bird bath out all winter and we are the most popular spot in the neighborhood!  It plugs into an outside outlet and keeps the water from freezing. An internal thermostat only turns it on as needed.

Elegant Gifts

This gorgeous lightweight ladies cashmere scarf from Nordstrom, available in multiple colors.  If you have followed me at all you know I am a scarf hound (as evidenced by my closet scarf storage solution which you can see HERE) and I would be delighted to find one of these under my tree. I can’t be alone!

Cashmere Scarf

And finally, for the classy tea lover, this Royal Albert tea set is sooooo pretty. Scallops and pale aqua?  Yes please! I definitely don’t need another teapot, but IF I did, this would be on the top of my list!

Happy Shopping!
