I’m just back from checking in on the New Hampshire antique farmhouse project…so fun to see!

These are the 2 of the seven bathrooms we’ve worked on in this project and I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they came out!  More importantly, so does our client :)

Although they are vastly different, both feature some dramatic wallpaper for a winning finish.

Black and White Primary Bath

This black and white primary bath is a stunning transformation. We combined two cramped and lackluster bathrooms to create this luxurious retreat. You can see the before pictures of the bathrooms and the plan to reconfigure in this post.

These white daffodils are all from my clients garden! They are just gorgeous!

We created three separate zones to break up the long narrow space.

The dramatic black tiled shower is huge and even the family dog gets to enjoy it!

The WC is wallpapered in a black graphic leaf pattern to balance the space at the opposite end of the bath and echo the tree paper in the central area.

A large vanity anchors the middle with black cabinets, marble-look quartz counters, and white mirrored countertop towers to keep necessities conveniently located and the counters clutter free.

Built in mirrors are flanked by sleek, elegant sconces trimmed in brass.

Floors are covered in octagonal Carrara and black marble tile, main walls are clad in birch tree wallpaper, a space expanding nod to the New England location.

The sunny window is highlighted with a Roman shade in the same print as the WC wallpaper, and trimmed with a leaf tape border.

The cabinet hardware plays off the octagonal shape of the floor tiles and the brass of the sconces.

Faucets and shower fittings are all in classic chrome and are from the clean lined Kohler Purist collection - a simple, unfussy style that is equally at home in a farmhouse setting as it is in more contemporary spaces.

Colorful Powder Bath

This little powder bath tucked under the stairs got a refresh.

It went from meh to wow with the addition of

botanical wallpaper with a punch

navy paint on all the millwork, cabinetry, and ceiling

new leaf-shaped cabinet hardware

and a pair of fabulous new brass sconces to flank the antique mirror.

What a difference!
