Beautiful custom window treatments are the finishing touches that we just installed in this classically appointed sunny space. With gracious millwork and vaulted ceilings, this suburban condo great room provided a lovely backdrop for a mix of the homeowners cherished furnishings alongside new and reupholstered pieces.

We have been working with these wonderful clients since they first purchased this home pre-construction. We helped them decide what furnishings to bring, what new pieces they might want, and what of their original pieces could benefit from some new upholstery.
We created a new design for the kitchen that turned the disappointment in the builder plan into the kitchen of their dreams. You can see more of the kitchen reveal HERE.
And we guided the selections for all the fixtures and finishes throughout the home to make it a perfect complement to their family heirloom furnishings and classic style.
We also designed a pocket home office/library tucked under the eaves off the loft area. You can see more of the library space HERE.
In the loft we recovered an ottoman in a striking print that adds some pizzazz to the existing chair and new sofa and added some custom pillows as well.
To define the entry, we recommended a new console table and topped it with an existing mirror and a custom permanent botanical arrangement that echos the color scheme for the great room space.

In this great room we accented the beautiful antique dining table and chairs with custom curtain panels in a beautiful embroidered floral in shades of blue hung from a simple gilded iron rod. The opposite wall boasts a quartet of large framed botanicals.

The camel back sofa was reupholstered in a salmon tweed and treated to a new, more comfortable, cushion fill.

A pair of Chippendale side chairs were reupholstered in an embroidered floral in complementary tones inspired by the existing oriental rugs we were able to repurpose here from their previous home.

The Samsung frame TV displays artwork when not in use and is mounted on an arm recessed over the fireplace.

Windows flanking the fireplace were treated with valances of the same fabric used in the dining area. These were mounted above the window frame to emphasize the airy volume of the vaulted ceiling, cover a minimum amount of glass, and line up with the millwork of the fireplace overmantel.
