Well, it’s been a memorable year to be sure…
As always, the end of the year is a time to reflect back on the last 12 months. Amid the chaos and uncertainty swirling all around, I choose to focus on gratitude. I am so grateful for truly wonderful family and friends, for fulfilling projects with lovely clients, and for the opportunity to celebrate - nearly every occasion can be cause for a party!
We started 2025 fresh off a round of visits to German Christmas markets - the ultimate in atmosphere and charm, followed by an Opera to Broadway concert back home featuring my professional musician children (proud mama moment).

We did some remote projects by email and answered some reader design dilemma questions.
And we are just about finished with some great projects that are still waiting to be photographed…like this Beacon Hill townhouse,
along with a suburban powder room and great room, and a seaside village antique home.
And my own master bathroom renovation…the “throne” has finally left the bedroom and is back where it belongs - we are sooooo close to done!
And 2025 was also filled with entertaining, of course…our favorite leisure time activity which included…
